About This Blog:

This blog originated as NVTekLib to provide a forum for assisting with technology integration (Tek) and promoting reading (Lib) at Nemaha Valley High School (NV). Since Nemaha Valley High School merged with B&B Baileyvill to form Nemaha Central High School, the original blog’s URL is no longer appropriate. Thus the NC Thunder blog was created with the same purposes: assist with technology integration and promote reading.

Several other sites were associated with NVTekLib. Those are slowly either being renamed to NCTekLib or being recreated under a new name.

About Me:

I graduated from Kansas State Teachers College with a degree in physical science education and from Emporia State University with a Masters’ of Library Science degree. I began my teaching career at USD 380 (Centralia and Frankfort) with a classroom in the building at Vermillion before moving to Nemaha Valley High School. In addition to having taught all areas of science, I have been the high school’s technology coordinator for a number of years. With the addition of a district level technology coordinator, my role has changed. I no longer have to worry about all of the hardware and networking issues but can spend my time helping students and staff with the integration of technology.
